This competition is open to hobby and professional photographer
The photographs should be taken within the geographical boundaries of Satara district, with a focus on rural landscapes in particular.

Technical Specifications
Photography Related
Mobile Photo: Photos should be in JPEG/JPG format and It should not have large watermarks.
DSLR Photos: Photos should be in JPEG + RAW file submitted and There should be no large watermarks on them.
Resolution: Minimum 300 DPI to ensure high-quality printing for future exhibitions and frames.
Dimensions: The long side of the image should be at least 3000 pixels.
Aspect Ratio: Standard 3:2 or 16:9 is expected for landscape orientation.
Camera Model: Provide information about your camera model and lens.
Editing: Basic color correction and cropping are permitted. However, excessive manipulation or AI-generated elements will lead to disqualification.

Photo Location: The photos you are going to submit must be from the route and area given to you in Satara district. Also, these photos must be from January 2026 to February 2026.
Submission and Entry Limits
Quantity: Each participant can submit a maximum of (e.g. 3 to 5) entries.
Entry Fee: A non-refundable fee of ₹ 200 per entry for DSLR photography and ₹ 50 per entry for mobile photography applies.
Deadline: All entries must be submitted through the official registration portal by 23/02/2026.

Copyright and Usage (Royalty Clause)
Ownership: The photographer retains full copyright of the image.
Usage Rights: By entering, the participant grants the organizers an exclusive license to use the photo for exhibitions, calendars, and promotional materials.
Commercial Sales: If a photo is selected for commercial frame sales or coffee table books, the photographer will receive a royalty on each sale (e.g., 10-15%) as per the signed agreement.
Judging Criteria
Entries will be evaluated by a professional panel of Nikhil Kate, Ganesh Kalaskar based on creativity, technical execution, and how well the image captures the essence of rural Satara.
